we r looking to build a new home in parkland school district. currently the only community with single homes is with kay builders. has anyone had any experience with them. checking online I have heard quite a few negatives but if someone who has dealt with them gives any recommendations I would appreciate it

Kay is a national builder, so people's experience varies greatly (who are the actual sub contractors and how busy is everybody).

Your best bet is to ask people currently living in the development for advice and research the housing prices over time in that neighborhood as compared to nearby ones.

Kay Builders isn't a national builder. They are based locally and typically only build in the Valley. You may be thinking of KB Home which is a big national builder.

That being said, I haven't heard anything about them being particularly bad or good as far as local builders go.
