Hi! I had interview in Easton. If I get the job, we'll move to Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton area from WB/Scranton area. There don't seem to be many apartment listings in 2 local papers. I saw a few listings on Craigslist. I guess realtors will have rental listings?

We are on a tight budget, now paying around $600 plus heat and hot water: 2 bedroom/half double. Would like to stay near same amount as possible, though it'll probably be more.

looking for quiet area: we're older couple. off street parking. prefer commute less than 1/2 hour, but may go a little further if necessary.

rather not a highrise or large complex. no pets.
Thank you!

I don't think you're going to easily find a 2BR apartment for $600 that isn't run down/outdated, in an unsafe area, in the most dense/noisy part of town, or all of the above. Off street parking will also be tough in that price range. Keep searching Craigslist.

I put some links in the second post on this page for rentals: //www.city-data.com/forum/lehig...residents.html

I agree with JohnZ, you're going to have to up your price point by a few hundred dollars.
