Hello
I would be new to the area and will not know anyone! I want a nice safe neighborhood for my kids. Also I want to meet other mom's.

Try this new area Hunt Drive in Lower Macgunie. Just found a place there, nice neighbourhood and lots of new families.

HI
we are moving to macungie in the beginning of May. I have 3 boys ages 2, almost 7 and almost 10. I will be a SAHM for awhile( icurrently teach here in NY) hopefully i will try to sub mid fall.
My boys will be going to macungie elementary.
We too will be new. how old are your boys? when will you be moving?

I have a 15 month old and one that is due May 2nd.. Hopefully by the end of the summer we will be in a new place. Do you know many people in Macungie? I know NO ONE!

I am moving there in the next couple of weeks. I have a soon to be 4 year old in June. I am looking forward to meeting newbies to the area too!

Yes, it has become a popular place - we just got here in October!

As for shopping, for the most part, everything you need is around. I say 'around' because it's not all in macungie, but within a 10 mile radius it's all there. Let's see, Wegmanns is on Tighlman, Target is on Cedar Crest, Kohls is off Hamilton, Barnes & Noble is at the Lehigh Valley Mall and the Promenade.

It's early, I can't think of other stores I go to often. Ask me of some though, and I'll tell you if it's here.

Oh, and there is a Little Gym (with a Starbucks right next door) which is a great place for the little ones.
