Where is this coming from? What does it mean?
I've lived in Bethlehem for the past few years, and over the summer did door-to-door canvassing with an environmental organization. Over this time I've seen just a handful of LVHN Killed My Husband signs, but even those few are enough to raise some eyebrows. What do they mean, you guys?
On the opposite, I came across a Saint Luke's version, of course without the snappy one liner the other signs have. This one was handmade.
On one side, it read:
YOUR LOVED ONES WOULD'VE SURVIVED IF THEY HADN'T GONE TO SAINT LUKES HOSPITAL
CHOOSE LEHIGH VALLEY HOSPITAL

On the back it read:
STEVEN PADDOCK ST. LUKES HOSPITAL
WHAT'S DIFFERENCE?
PADDOCK DIDN'T SEND A BILL TO HIS VICTIMS!

I am DESPERATE for answers to this!! Anyone know what the heck is happening?

I'm guessing some mentally unstable person had a family member die at the hospital and is convinced malpractice had something to do with it. These people sue the hospitals all the time and are a reason why doctors are leaving the state due to the high cost of malpractice insurance. Sounds like this one has nothing better to do than post handmade signs to push their view.

Hmm. Perhaps. But I've seen them a lot lately, not just one or two yards, plus the variation is confusing. When I say there is nothing about them I mean not even a facebook page! I just want to know where they come from, and what they mean.
The LVHN Killed My Husband signs are professionally made, and at times there is a blank spot for someone to fill in who exactly LVHN killed. Just very curious.

Probably nothing more than a person alleging medical malpractice.

There are always some people out there who can't understand that life isn't perfect and success in medical matters can't be guaranteed; there is a smaller, but even less-principled group who prey upon these unrealistic expectations, and the continuing emergence of the "snowflake" mentality will only serve to fuel these deceptions, real or imaginary. In the end, we all foot the bill for them.

You're preaching to the choir. I work in medical education and am always astounded by how few people do due diligence when it comes to their health and medical procedures.

I feel that, but I still do not know why the signs specifically are related to LVHN, they're professionally made so it's not an isolated incident, and some even have the option to fill in who/what LVHN killed. Like a weird mad lib.
I know it's due to someone having issues with the treatment they/a family member received through LVHN (hence why their husband died apparently) but why are there signs with no context? What happened?
