Hi forum friends,
I'm looking to buy investment property in Pennslyvania. I was wondering if anyone knew neighborhoods that have potential. I'm looking to spend up to 200 thousand on a single or multifamily home. I hear lehigh valley might be a good place to start looking

What makes you think that? Your price seems low for a home in a safe area.

As toobusytoday said, Lehigh Valley costs a bit more than your budget. If I were you, I would consider a rowhome in Phoenixville, or something around Lancaster.

I would consider a rowhome in the Midtown section of Harrisburg. You will find something within your budget, and rents are competitive.

If you can go to the high 200's, your choices will expand significantly; even with staying in the suburban school districts.
