Hello,

forgive the paranoid post - I currently live in Missouri, and due to a family issues I have to move to Easton. I live in the country, and I am not a city person... that being said - how safe is the southside of easton? will my daughter and I be able to walk safely around the block? i must sound like nutcase.. sorry. My step-son currently lives there and says it's not a bad area... however if you go a few streets up, its a bad neighborhood. so I dont know. any thoughts would be nice. I dont want to belittle Easton in any way - form what I've seen it's beautiful. just wondering if I made the wrong choice in home locations.

Thanks,

Cautiously optimistic.

Thanks, guess my question is... can I walk around the block with my daughter and dog or do I need to worry about being mugged.

Just be aware of your surroundings, and don't look or ACT like a potential victim. Southside of Easton is a hell of a lot safer than where I used to live in Brooklyn years ago. It's all perspective.
