We are an Asian/ Chinese family planning on moving to Lehigh Valley area. We got two young kids and my mom. My mom would love to have an area that is more concentrated with Chinese people since she doesn’t speak any English.

Our kids don’t speak any Chinese but would love them to grow up in a more diverse area.

Husbands family live in Bethlehem, haven’t explored much but so far it doesn’t seem like there is much diversity.(at least in that area that they live in)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I know there are a few churches that are primarily Chinese and some of them (& additional non-churches) have Chinese language classes (not positive which ones, other than Mandarin) for kids. Maybe start there?

The largest non-white group in Southern Lehigh School District is Asian-Americans. However, I do think that is comprised more of Asian Indians, not Chinese. I don't know of any area that really has a pocket of Chinese Americans. And this may sound silly, but whenever we go to Asia https://www.asiaorientalcuisine.com/ it seems like at least half of the guests are speaking Chinese. Their website says they are just take out now, but it could be that they haven't updated it. As an aside, their food is excellent.
