Is the area around Liberty HIgh or Monrovia College any good? How are the people? How is the crime? Is the Walmart or other stores nearby good? Is this the HOOD?

Sorry to ask so many questions, just gotta know?

If you were moving to Bethlehem is this a good area to move or is there another area that is considered safer, better?

PLEASE any help will do?

That would be the good section of Bethlehem. No idea about a Walmart. Someone else have more in-depth answers?

That's generally a good, safe area. Mostly affordable too, with a mix of housing types. I have a friend who lives in the area west of Center Street and north of Elizabeth Ave (near the Cemetery) and he likes it. The people range from college students to retirees.

The only sketchy part I can think of is down towards Union Blvd and Main. There is a real "ghetto" stretch of row houses across from the Sunoco station on Main St, and around Union Blvd.

The nearest Walmart would be on Rt. 191/Linden Street, about 5-7 minutes away. Pretty much any kind of basic store you would need is within 10 minutes or less away from this area.

Whether it is a good area to move to depends on how much you want to spend. If you're looking to spend $300,000+ on a house, then I would recommend the areas north of here (Main St. extension, Pine Top Trail area, etc.) but if not, this area is good.

Its a nice area in the city. Parking can be tough if you live really close to the highschool and dont have a garage.

I agree about the Main St area by the gas station. Within that neighborhood by Liberty and Moravian there are a few scuzzballs. However, it is mostly a good place.

My friend does live right across from it. It's actually not creepy as cemetaries go, it's pretty much flat and wide open. I can't speak for the schools, he doesn't have any kids. I know kids would go to Liberty HS, I don't know what the ES and MS would be.
