They make good pretzels and you can't beat the price, 3 for a dollar. They're as good as the ones they sell in Reading at Bell Alley, for the same price, but parking and driving in town is a hassle. But they can't beat Bavarian Pretzel for taste even if they are much cheaper.
I don't like butter soaked pretzels so Aunty Annie's was never high on my list, and they are pricey. And the pretzels they get delivered from Philly and sell in gas stations are usually a day old.
Make a quick poll, favorite soft pretzel. My vote: Bavarian pretzel.

I've heard that there is also a Philadelphia Soft Pretzel in Quakertown, right on the main street so I will probably try that one. We lived in Downingtown when Annie Ann's opened up their very first store at the Downingtown Farmers Market and then they had one at the Booth Corners Farmers Market when we lived in Delaware county. I have memories of all my children in strollers or very small being bribed with an Annie Ann's pretzel for being "good" for the duration of a farmers market trip. Here's the link for the Philadelphia Soft Pretzel factory: http://www.phillysoftpretzelfactory.com/pretzelstory.html (broken link) Looks like they have a number of places up and down the east coast.
