I'm eating Mary Janes and wondering when I'm going to get some more showings on my house.

Not a chatty bunch?

I'm so looking forward to Wednesday and the election being over. Of course, I want my guy to win but I also want to have the commercials and robocalls to be over. It seems like this fall has been full of sports and politics in our house and it's so much more fun to just cheer on the Eagles instead of argue about Obama and McCain.

Wednesday will hopefully end the political stuff on tv, but I'm sure some ads will sneak through

Good luck with your house selling Stavs. I hated having a house on the market, keeping it show clean and having to leave suddenly if a buyer decided to take a look at the place. Are there many places around in your price range for buyers to choose from?

There's about 17 properties that fall in range, but maybe 6 or so are competitors. It does suck having to live a different way...I have to make the bed every day, straighten everything up....its really inconvenient. On the plus side, we purged a lot of unneeded items, so it has its pluses. Real plus will be when we get the offer and start looking for the new home!

I feel for you, Stavs. As much as I want to move, I'm dreading putting my house on the market. I wish I had the funds to move, then put the house up. I have 4 cats, 4 finches and a parrot. My house is only spotless for about 3.2 seconds before there is hair and feathers everywhere! And I worry about people letting my cats out - they are indoor only cats. Maybe I'll get lucky and get a job that makes enough that I can rent a place while selling my house. In the meantime, good luck selling your place Stavs! Did you try the St Joseph statue? My Nana had her home on the market forever, then they buried the statue and sold within the month.

Oh, yeah we buried one of them in our front yard. I forgot about that.
