Hey all. My computer is royally messed up. Has anyone used a local repair company or can recommend one? A google search turned up a few but I have no idea who is good. I was thinking of trying these guys www.supleetech.com unless anyone else has an idea?? Thanks guys!

Avoid the chains like Best Buy, Staples, etc. They will over charge you. Beyond that, I wouldnt know who to recommend for pc service. Mac service on the other hand I could.

Well I just got my computer back and its running great! Turns out I had 3 different viruses and a boat load of spyware. I agree in not using those chain services, I actually used Suplee Technology and they even gave me a discount! It cost me $35 and they fixed it right at my house. Worth every penny i f you ask me.

$35 is reasonable, especially for home service. Congrats!

Now, did they give you any info on getting better virus/spyware software? There is plenty of good free software available on the net to combat that. I wish I had recommendatiosn, but its been a while since I had to grab it for the wifes pc.

Never use Limewire !!! Just a suggestion if you do.

Not sure what you are using for virus protection but sounds like you might need to use antoher brand
