I don't watch tv, so I was wandering about life after work if I move to the area, so just wandering if adult recreation sports are big in the area. Are there any usta tennis leagues etc... what about other recreation sports such as soccer, ultimate frisbee. Is it pick up or are there leagues???

I'm also a tennis guy myself, but I'm not really familiar with how "active" the area is.

There are a few clubs in the area that I know off the top of my head.

Winning Touch of Lehigh Valley (Allentown)
Northwood Racquet Club (I guess it's considered Easton, but in the Nazareth direction).
Lehigh Valley Racquet & 24-7 Fitness - Westend Club

Never been to any of these places so can't comment on how nice they are.

I think the last one called Westend is supposed to be a really nice club (relatively speaking) and holds a few USTA tournaments and such.

As I'm writing this post I looked up the Middles States page on the USTA site, and they have a search bar for courts in your area by Zip code. Some are just outdoor high school courts, but there are quite a few clubs listed in there.

Enjoy!

I know there is an adult soccer league, I am not sure about tennis though and definitly not sure about ulimate frisbee ....I think there are some 24/7 fitness places that may have a tennis court. I know for sure raquetball.

There is also flag football, rugby, hockey, etc...you just will have to connect & associate yourself.
