Any input about Quakertown, PA. we looked at an over 55 community by Judd Builders. Does PA have like NY an access a ride which comes to take you to dr or shopping for a minimal fee? Any help would be appreciated.

The bus I see around here is LANTA Welcome to LANTA but I believe it serves Northampton and Lehigh Counties. Quakertown is in Bucks. Here's a service I found for Bucks county residents: Transportation - Area Agency on Aging

Quakertown is a pretty nice town. They have great parks and a new library. The downtown is very walkable and friendly. There are some nice independent stores right on main street. The farmers market is quirky and cheap but has great produce and meats, fun to go to occasionally. The shopping on the outskirts has improved if you like the chain stores. Target and Best Buy opened in the last year and joined K-Mart, Walmart and Kohl's along rt. 309. St. Luke's hospital is right in Q-town. We took our son there several years ago when he broke his leg skiing and were satisfied. They have a good local reputation. There are tons of dentists on Juniper and Broad Streets. I don't know why but Q-town is like a mecca for Dentists. My husband goes to one there because it's close to where he works. I like another dentist in Coopersburg, where we live.

I'm sure there are good doctors there but we go to one in Coopersburg so have not investigated any in Q-town. Sorry I can't tell you anything about Judd builders.
