It's not unusual for school to be canceled due to snow but this is the first time I recall it happening before Christmas. My kids are still sleeping upstairs but once they're up I have plans for cleaning and cookie making for all. Is everyone else snug in their homes or will you have to do the slip-slide ride home from work?

For some of us....we are enjoying doing office work in a peaceful, empty office.

Merry White Christmas for everyone.

We had moved to the Lehigh Valley from western PA back in the 70s. I was always amazed at how quickly they closed schools, or at least had late starts. We're in Erie now, moved here in '95. So far this season we've had 66 inches of snow and only one 2 hour delay.
