Are there two Clearfields in PA? I googled it and see that Clearfield is way out past State College. Definitely not the Lehigh Valley.

We have a Clearfield in Bushkill Twnp, near Nazareth (actually has a Nazareth zip code), but not an abundance of houses for sale in comparison to other areas..

Yeah, the Clearfield that is north of Nazareth and Bath and south of Wind Gap is just a small, unincorporated village. The "other" Clearfield is an actual borough and the county seat of the eponymously named county (Clearfield County). It is along Interstate 80. About 99% of the time when someone refers to Clearfield, PA, they are talking about the latter Clearfield. Heck, I grew up about 4 miles or so from the former Clearfield but when someone says Clearfield, PA to me, I think of the latter Clearfield!

Theres the town of Clearfield and Clearfield County, Dubois is in Clearfield county, east north up 28 from Pgh.

Sort of North east a bit from Punxsy 28 to 85 to 410 to 322 your here, then on to 80 if wish.

There are alot of homes for sale, lots of shops closing in the Dubois Mall, and I believe the Clearfield Mall is closing, we don't have any big department stores, Bon Ton is it, but they have really nice items.

Walmart Super Center should be complete by Black Friday, a Petco is coming in.

A Cheese factory wanted to come up this way, but I think the owner of the Shop N Save frowned on it, so it never happened, great huh? We just got Aldi's

1 1/2 - 2 hr drive to Pgh and thats in summer, this is the snow belt. We try not to drive on 80.

There are genuine good people here, friendly neighbors who sincerely help when needed, I can't say that for when I lived in the big city.

The Clearfield County Fair is one of the best !!

If you live near Clearfield/Woodland area you can head out to Denny's and get a 15 lb burger. I ate a 2lb burger back in the day and they only had a 3lb burger back then. That 15 lb burger is sick! It's been years since I was there and I've not been there since they started making the 15 pounder. We used to hunt out that way and when I ate that 2 pounder I slept the whole way home. There was fries too! These days I would have trouble with a double 1/4 pounder at McDonalds.
