Hi people of Lehigh Valley,

I'm here for an internship for the next 2 months and I have some questions regarding the area / things to do.

First of all, I dont have a car to my disposal. I'm only 20 years old so I have some troubles getting an insurance. I can drive along with some of the other interns, but since they have been staying here much longer I also want to do some things myself.

I want to go to New York again, but the bus costs like 60 bucks for a 2 way ticket. Are there any cheaper solutions?

And do you guys have any other suggestions to go to? (I can always ask some of the other interns if they want to join me WITH a car )

And lastly, I really want to try out some American Football. But I dont know if it would be possible to join a club around here for the time I'm staying here? Maybe a university club or something like that?

Thank you!

Greetings,
Peter

Welcome to the area Peter! Any chance you are working for Lutron? They seem to be big on Interns.

You can catch the Bieber bus in Hellertown for $36.75 Roundtrip to NYC. No stops in between and you wind up at Grand Central Station. Football season is pretty much over for now as far as I know because it's too darn cold outside. Basketball is winding up. But, I'm not really a sports knowledgeable person, I can ask someone where I work who would probably know if someone here can't help you. What kind of things to you do at home? When my son was in England last fall doing a study abroad he pretty much did the same sort of things there as he does at his college here - go to the movies, visit local cities, and hang out with friends. My daughter is a bit more adventurous and travels further.

Where are you from?
