Hello,

We just moved here and are looking for a doctor for our child. We live in Palmer township but don't mind to drive for the best care of our child. He's a normal healthy 3 years old. Please recommend one for us. Thank you.

Mary

I bring my kids to see Dr. Patricia Geil in Easton. She shares an office with the Easton Area Family Medicine practice on William Penn Hwy. We've been with her since my oldest was born in 2001. Her nurses are really nice and remember our names from visit to visit. We always are seen same day when we ask for it. If Dr. Geil is not available, we can see one of the family doctors who will at least have access to our charts.

She is affiliated with the Easton Hospital which is not my first choice of local hospitals. When one of my children needed something done at a hospital (ear tubes, etc), we were always dealing with a specialist anyway, so I just made sure to pick a specialist with privileges at LVH.

Hope this helps...

After exhausting my search in finding a good pediatrician affiliated with St. Luke's Hospital, I started bringing my kids to Dr. Patricia Geil under my neighbor's recommendation in 2000. She was the doctor who diagnosed my daughter's amblyopia at a routine check-up, which seems to often go undiagnosed by pediatricians according to a local ophthalmologist. Her nurses are very attentive and would respond to any questions I leave on their voice mail within hours, but her answering service that she shares with a family practice group needs better bedside manner.

We have always used Dr. Mahesh Verma in Palmer (near Don Pablos) and love him and his staff. I think he is associated with St. Lukes, Easton and Warren Hospitals. Dr. Verma noticed my son's amblyopia also (even though we never noticed a thing) when he was five. We went to Dr. Mark Trachtman, a pediatric eye specialist and he was wonderful too. My son wore a patch and glasses for years and now needs nothing!

i use Dr Hassan Bozorginia in Bethlehem Twp., on Easton Ave, next to the Candlelight Inn. He is a "one man" office, just himself which I like. i was recommended him by my OB/GYN at the time and he was also my employer. I worked at the office. So my doctor chose him out of everyone he worked with at the hospital. Dr. Bozorgnia has been wonderful. My kids are now 15 and 12. The secretary, Tracey, is so great too. Good Luck!
