There are a couple in the Bethlehem-Allentown area that I am aware of. Lehigh Valley Taxi in Bethlehem and Quick Service Taxi in Allentown. I have used both and wasn't impressed with either. I waited 1.5 hours for LV Taxi and they never showed up. I think they're a bit overwhelmed with the casino, etc. as I think they're the only taxi co. in Bethlehem.

According to the restrictive P.U.C. laws you can only call a cab that serves the city you are in. For example, if in Allentown you cannot call the Bethlehem Company (Lehigh Valley Taxi) and ask to be picked up. I am not sure how this works if you are in nearby towns like Whitehall or Northampton. Perhaps each company will pick up in towns that are closest to their location.

While both are generally incompetent, at least the LV Taxi folks are nicer people. Quick Service Taxi drivers are the most miserable people you may ever encounter.

There is a company in Easton, and they are very limited in their coverage area. The few times I ever had to use these jabronies, I was not impressed.

Calling a cab should be avoided unless it is an emergency. Use Lanta or walk if you have to.
