Hi folks, I will be visiting Allentown and central NJ for a couple of weeks at the end of January into the beginning of February. The last time I visited in the winter was over 25 years ago, so I know I am in for a huge shock to the system, especially since I will be coming from So. Calif., where it's been around 75-80 degrees for the past two weeks.

My mother is having surgery, so that's why I will be coming, otherwise, I wouldn't think of coming then. However, since my husband and I are planning on selling our house this summer and moving to the Lehigh Valley, I guess I can look at this trip as a taste of what is in store for us in the future. Oh Boy!

I hope I at least to experience some snow while I am there, although not enough to get me snowed in - LOL. Wish me luck!

Rosanne, I hope you have a nice visit and some light snow that doesn't interfere with you getting anywhere. Warm clothes including gloves/mittens, hat's and scarves are essential things you will want to have, otherwise, you won't want to leave the house!

Let us know if you need any information!
