Looking for good, moderately priced restaurants to go to with my husband.

I like to go to ones within a block or so of Main street so we can window shop before or after dinner. Have you been to The Bethlehem Brew works The Brew Works » Bethlehem Brew Works ? Nice and casual. There's also another great little Italian one across the street Mama Nina's Mama Nina

On the South side I've been to the Indian restaurant, Nawab, Nawab Indian Restaurant - Bethlehem, PA - Dine Indie and the Thai place Thai Kitchen || home All of these places are reasonably priced with great food.

I've been to the Brew Works with my hubby and it's a fairly reasonable, fun, casual place - and there is a little indoor mall right next door ; )

The Vineyard, an Italian restaurant that is technically in Fountain Hill, but you can get there from Main St. Bethlehem in 5 min. or less.

Sal's on the South side (just beyond the New Street bridge, on the left hand side). Looks like a bit of a dive (from the outside) but it is at least as good as Mama Nina's (same family, in fact).

Right now they are offering a complimentary glass of wine with a meal and cannoli dessert! Plus, the standard garlic knots!! Can't beat that!!!

I like the Edge (yum!) and I've heard of the Vineyard, but aren't those both expensive? OP is asking for moderately priced places.

BTW, restaurant week in Bethlehem is coming up at the end of the month. Anyone planning to try some place new? Bethlehem Restaurant Week

Yes, Edge is somewhat expensive, but I don't feel that The Vineyard is expensive. It's moderately priced for the amount of food you get. Whenever I've visited I see many taking home boxes of leftovers. For moderately priced, casual restaurants how about Matey's on Route 412 in Hellertown just outside of Bethlehem? There is also a Matey's on Broadway in Fountain Hill, but with a smaller menu.

If you want to try out some restaurants in Easton, their restaurant week is January 24-28. My three favorites are River Grille, The Vintage, and MexTex Trio. River Grille and Vintage are a bit upscale and MexTex is much more casual and less expensive. However, restaurant week is a great week to get to know the more expensive ones for a great price. I love when cities do this because it gives me a chance to try out the fancier restaurants for a lower price and decide whether I like them enough to visit again at their regular prices. River Grille and Vintage are worth it!

I consider the vineyard to be reasonably priced for what you get. For around $17 you can get a plate full of chicken parm, a salad, and a side dish of pasta. Other entrees priced similarly.
