Never heard of Highlands Ave, Greenleaf St is in a nice area, I believe it is an older area not like the other one you were looking at.

Check out Bethlehem (stay within Freedom SD... not Liberty). Hellertown is really nice and SD is great. Nazareth (my first choice - another great SD). : )

FYI I am not living there yet. We are still in NJ. But I have driven up a number of times to check out all of these areas and have been researching a ton. So PA natives would probably be able to help a bit more ; )

I've been quiet because I am not so familiar with Northampton county and area's to the East of Bethlehem. My husband and I moved here from Delaware County (near the Del. state line) and were looking for a school district near Quakertown.

Parkland is a great school district - one of the best in the area. I live in Lower macungie and we're in East Penn school district, but we also looked in Parkland. Let me know if you have any specific questions.

I didn't mean that you should look in Quakertown, just that since my husband was working in Quakertown we never looked further North then where we ended up which is in Southern Lehigh School district.
