Finally! Our schools have closed for the day and I think the township is just waiting for this stuff to melt. Our neighborhood remains unplowed, but awfully pretty. What's going on in your neck of the woods today?

I am so excited! Finally a good ol' fashion snow storm. The kind the kids can play in for days! Not to mention, I won't have to take my son to 8 a.m. basketball on Saturday

I just got back from the grocery store and was prepared for a crowd and maybe less staples on the shelves, but I encountered no crowds and no lack of stuff. We actually ran out of both bread and milk this morning so I would have gotten them anyway, but I picked up a couple of gallons of water so I probably did look like a storm shopper. Last time we had a power outage a few weeks ago, I was kicking myself for not having a couple of gallons of water on standby. I'm scheduled to work tomorrow but instead am looking forward to hopefully a snow day instead. This winter is strange with the storms hitting the Philadelphia and lower Delaware and South Jersey more then us. Not complaining, but I feel we're losing our bragging rights for snow accumulations!

Yes, we definitely have been getting more snow than the norm here in Central Jersey....I do miss it though - this is how I remember it as a kid. My luck, we'll move to PA and NJ will end up getting more snow every year than PA : ( I HOPE NOT!!
