We FINALLY have a possible bidder hahaha. Yes, only possible, but we haven't had anyone bid on our house at all since we put our house up for sale in August ugh. So I am very excited. As soon as we settle and go into contract with a buyer, we can put our deposit down on the property in Nazareth and start building!!!! If we wait too long, we are going to lose the lot we really want to a spec home that they are building - not the one we want : ( Please keep your fingers and toes crossed for us that this all works out! Thanks

They offered $330,000 and we are asking $369,900. Not too bad for this market but not acceptable lol. My realtor thought I'd be disappointed, but I'm actually not surprised. We offered $350,000 on this home in 2004 and they were asking $389,000 and settled at $368,000 so there's hope! ....yes, we are basically right where we were when we bought in terms of the price haha. Good thing is we put a good down payment down so we won't lose - thank goodness. Soooo, anyway, we are going to come back today with a counter-offer and see what happens!! Keep those fingers crossed please! and thank you!!

How many people haved toured the home previous to this?
Why would you lose your new lot?
How long have you lived at your current home and what town is it in?
What's the taxes on your current property vs the one your hoping for?

Sounds like there's room for a compromise - good luck with the negotiations!

Yes, we luckily bought right before the big boom that came about in 2004, so it could be alot worse for us. We counter-offered on Friday and haven't heard back yet - we shall see!
