I live in the Quakertown area and am looking for a pediatrician that is non vacing and delay vacing friendly. The pediatrician i go to is great but they are not very open to delaying some vacines and not getting others, i have done my research and have read, read, read, and read some more and am confident in my decision but having a pediatrician that is not on board with you can be a real pain in the but. I am looking for a ped that is in or close to the Quakertown area, and is open to clients who choose not to vacinate or delay vacinations. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Closest to you is definitely Woodlands:

No problems with your vaccination choices there!

I also have a few more suggestions if that doesn't work out, although this is definitely the closest choice for you. There may be an extended wait for the first appointment - the only downside.

Good luck!

Dr. Shay in Barto - my boys love him. I took my oldest there because he's on the spectrum & Dr. Shay is a DAN! doctor. He definitely will NOT force the vax issue at all.

We have Capital Blue Cross and it's never been a problem there, he's a participating provider on that plan.

There is also a female ped. in Easton who opened recently, but that's getting further north for you. Her name is Lisa Caso I believe (I will check w/my friend who goes there if you want more info).

There is also a no vax and a selective/delayed vax board at Mothering.com that has some great info if you'd like to check that out.
