Hi,

Does anyone live here? Just looking for some opinions on the neighborhood. We are looking to make a move and are looking at new townhouses. We are also looking at Heritage and Pulte...but this community caught our eye.

I know Heritage and Pulte have an HOA. Does anyone know if Laurel Field has one as well?

The best I can do is tell you we saw the place a couple of times. We stopped before they were even done with the first block of four homes. They have a wide variety of models and they are quite attractive in my book. We just decided that a townhome was not for us.

They seem to be moving quite well there. I drove through probably a month ago just to see what it looked like. The homes look just as attractive as the pictures online, however the streets seem a bit narrow making everything feel real close together. I think the first street is done already with a bunch of homes and they've moved onto the second street. I believe they do have an HOA because of the common areas, but forget what the anticipated cost would be.

One other thing to note is that they had a single home development in Emmaus that sold out pretty quickly and those are equally as beautiful. I can't speak about construction, but they appear to do a fairly swift business in this environment, which must stand for something.

I would think that development would be a bit noisy being surrounded by two major highways, but I've never stopped the car and gotten out while driving on that road (Werley Rd I think?).

However, it is one of the last large "close-in" developments. I personally wouldn't want to live all the way out in Breinigsville where the other new townhouse developments are.

Boy, that's close to ALL the major roads. I guess it would work as a starter house, but I sure wouldn't want to live that close to the highways.

But if you need the turnpike, that is seriously the catbird seat right there. I don't know how much noise I remember. It will be noisy a few more years anyway until they finish up the development. And I think another one has started across the street.
