I just read this article in today's paper - A dog play afternoon - mcall.com

"Maybe there are better ways to spend a sunny Monday than in the company of dogs at a grassy park, but how much better could they be?

We had warm sun, cool shade, spring blossoms, hair-tousling breezes and the unflagging revelry of Max, Nellie, Spike, Chloe and Brita across the expanse of Bark Park, a section of the Nazareth Borough Park reserved for canines and their owners."

At the end of the article it also mentions dog parks in other areas of the Lehigh Valley, "Nazareth's dog park, at the northwest end of the borough park, is one of just a handful in the area and can draw dozens of dogs at a time on the weekends. Other parks are in Bethlehem, behind the Memorial Pool on Ilick's Mill Road; and Lower Saucon Township, in Polk Valley Park. Easton is planning to build one, too, as part of a 2-mile trail along the Bushkill Creek."
