A couple of things. First, the OP is not talking about visiting. Living in a place and daily putting up with several trains going through with whistles day and night, is quite different than visiting. I know that I cannot live with a radio or tv on 24/7. That would drive me batty. I know that works for some people, but can understand if it's not going to work for every family. Glad you had a nice visit StetsonHatter!

Second, this thread is four years old. Wonder what the OP ended up doing...
