How is the economy/job market around Lexington? what are some of the main companies around there?

There are many plants in Versailles, Paris, Nicholasville, Richmond, etc. that also supply many of those companies, employing hundreds.

How about posting what you are looking for?

The economy is never THAT bad in Lexington b/c it is leveraged towards education and healthcare, both very stable sectors. As with most college towns/cities, the unemployment level is usually a few notches below the national avg.
