I currently live in Richmond and work in Winchester with a commute that's about 30 minutes. This causes me to go through about a half-tank of gas a week, assuming I don't do a lot of other driving (I like to go to Lexington on weekends for something to do).
I'm looking to get an apartment either on the east-ish side of Lexington, or actually in the Winchester area. Somewhere with a shorter commute than I have currently, with rent somewhere in the $350-425 range (or less). I'm not very picky about the neighborhood so long as I don't have to worry about getting shanked when I step outside
. A decent population of other young professionals (25-35) is a plus, but not a requirement.
As far as amenities, all I really care about is that it allows dogs (mine is considered small), and on-site (or real close) laundry mat.
Thank you for any input.
P.S. - I like cake and pie equally, with a slight lean towards cake.
