Good afternoon,

My husband and I would like to relocate to Kentucky. He is currently a professional truck driver with Summit Trucking out of Clarksville, IN. We are looking into moving to Georgtown. I am in the customer service field and have worked in the medical office field as well. I am not very familiar with Kentucky but am from South Carolina originally now living in GA. We just want to live in a good town/nice neighbor hood. We will be renting to start with preferrably a house. We do have pets (one puppy and a kitty inside). All help will be greatly appreciated.

Smile Hoping to hear from some nice Kentuckians

Is there anyone who can tell me more about rental property in the Georgetown area? I am researching as much as possible to find out all I possibly can about Georgetown before moving. It is just my husband and myself and will more than likely only have the one dog when we move. The reason for Georgetown is due to the fact that it is not that far from the terminal that my husband is out of and it is only about 6.50 hours from my family in SC.

Well, I'm a realtor in Cynthiana, Ky which is about 18 to 20 miles from Georgetown and a very good place to live. Also, I believe living expenses are a little less here than there. I'd be glad to see if I can find some info for you here if you would consider Cynthiana. Why not go on & buy if you can find a nice place? Sometimes it cost as much to rent as to buy. You can contact me at peggy.mcnabb@era.com.
