How nice to see such an appreciative article. The writer clearly "got" the Bluegrass, and captured it well in this piece.

"Lively"! He called downtown Lexington "lively"!

Sometimes it takes fresh eyes to see what's in front of our noses. Our little old downtown Lexington, "lively"...whoever around here would have thought?

I honestly wouldn't call Lexington lively and heavenly. However, this article successfully depicts the beauty of Central Kentucky. I actually forwarded this to my mother.

I would call Lexington's downtown "lively." Of course, I have only recently moved here and am more familiar with the downtowns of other cities, so I appreciate what downtown Lexington has to offer. Lexington's downtown feels more lively (although it is smaller) than every downtown in the state of Ohio. In relation to its overall size, Lexington has a very high density of restaurants/bars/shops.
