I'm considering having an outdoor wood furnace installed. Please recommend professionals, or comment on their cost, use, etc.

The

Just make sure all the wood you burn is from Fayette County - it's currently illegal to move firewood from one county to another, due to the invasive non-native Emerald ash borer, which is destroying our beautiful native ash trees.

Can't move wood from one county to another?? Don't say that around the state park campgrounds. All they say there is don't bring wood from another state.

Nope, no across-county line wood removal, at least as far as Fayette Co. is concerned. Too bad, since I have access to woods in an another county and normally would have all the deadfall firewood I could use for the rest of my life! But that other county's woods include the emerald ash borers, so unless I have campfires, that wood has to stay where it is. Too bad...
