My wife is heading to a conference in Lexington at the end of July and I am going to tag along and spend the days playing golf. Would love to hear any reccomendations for courses and clubs within 30 minutes of LEX. Price is not an issue. Thanks

I am not a golfer, but there are many courses in and around Lexington. Check out Connemara just outside of Nicholasville, or the course behind the Campbell House Hotel in Lexington, quite close to downtown, for starters.

Sorry I'm not a golfer either. On Horse Capital of the World: Lexington, Kentucky Convention and Visitors Bureau there is a tab that describes a lot of the golf courses in the area. In addition there is a course off of i64 in mt sterling that is supposed to be good. Someone help me out as I can't remember its name
