If the buyer and seller both don't have realtors and need someone to help them with the contract and the closing process, would real estate lawyer be the way to go? How much do they usually charge? And any recommendations? Also, would a realtor do something like this for a flat fee? If so, what would be the usual fee?
We bought a house without a realtor years ago. Our bank gave us a couple of attorneys that handled these types of transactions. I don't recall the cost.
