It looks to me like they are going to develop part of the property between the house and the interstate off ramp. I am sure it will eventually be torn down, but I would think if they were doing it now it would have already been done. Plus, they have only cleared part of the land.
A friend of mine drove up to the house, thinking it was vacant. The occupant lives over the detached garage according to my friend.
I am interested in the history too. I am sure it was waaaaaaay outside of Lexington when it was built. I hate to see it go, but you can't stop progress. Even the classic old neighborhoods well inside New Circle Road were once somebody's farm that suffered a similar fate.
