The title says it all - is it possible to get to Berea from the Lexington airport without driving?

Huh? No, no, walking is out. And so is riding a bike. What other options are there?

So it's pretty well rent a car at the airport or nothing, right? I thought there might be some shuttles, or something.

Nope, no shuttles, nowhere, no how. It's pretty much rural-ness once you're out of Lex. But it is a straight shot down 75 to Berea.

There is a LexTran bus to the main Lexington transit center: Blue Grass Airport | Lexington, KY

And a greyhound bus from Lexington to Berea: Bus Routes from Berea, KY to Lexington, KY from $14.50 | Greyhound

Thanks very much for the info. I didn't know about the bus from the airport to downtown. That will be a big help!

Is Uber not an option or is that cost prohibitive? It's only about 40 miles. It may be a good option if that's available considering the amount of time it would save and having a comfortable ride with no worries.

To followup on my own post, I looked it up online. Lexington airport to Berea is $42-$56 via Uber. Sounds like a bargain to me.
