I am looking for an apartment in Lexington using the internet. I live in a rural area of New Mexico. Could someone post the names and links of property managers for apartments in Lexington? I'm not finding a lot of listings in my search.
Thanks,
I am not sure where that info could be found, but I imagine if you search on kentucky.com, you will find aprartment info. That site has all the classifieds for our local newspaper, and I know there are alot of ads in there. Good Luck!
I understand your problem and I feel bad for you. If you are trying to rent a place by yourself and are on a disability income, the options are slim, very slim. It will put you in a less than desirable area in most cases.
What I have found is that others in these areas are in the same boat, trying to make ends meet with very little money. Most of them will help you the best they can, if you don't look down on them just like you don't want to looked down on.
I have a friend who is blind and living on disability . He lives in a house that need a whole lot of work. He has more people helping him get around town than anyone else I know. From guys whose car is held together with duct tape and sticky to those who drive BMWs. I can't take him to Walmart without running into five or ten acquaintances.
I can't tell you to lower your standards but you may have to get a roommate to pay the bills. Just something to consider.
Thanks for your notes. It is difficult for many of us on a disability income and we do need to help each other as much as possible. Sounds like you help your friend a lot.
