So you're looking to use the bus system? LexTran is fairly efficient, but the buses are not always on time. They are safe for the most part. It's been a while since I've used them.

The bus system is safe. Check out lextran's website for schedule information
http://www.lextranonthemove.org The only downfall of using the bus is that they don't always run on time, and you might have to change to a different bus or two to get to your location.

I agree with the other poster's about the timeliness or lack there of at times of LexTran.
I one time was waiting for the bus only to have one of their minivans show up to say they cancelled the route that day or for the time being (can't remember why) also, you more than likely will need a "transfer" the worse thing about LexTran is the bus depot downtown (vagrants, FCDC work release folks "bummin smokes", etc)
