I've been looking into the surrounding areas of Lexington and have come across the town of Paris and Georgetown. They both look pretty nice and are relatively safe (according to crime statistics). Unfortunately, I have found several websites with pictures of flooding and tornadoes in Paris. My question is, is there flooding in Paris and Georgetown? If so, where does the flooding occur? Also, are there many tornadoes that rip through both towns? If so, how bad are they? Thanks.

I wouldn't worry about flooding, especially in Georgetown. Paris might experience some minor flooding but again nothing major. Georgetown is really growing and is a great town close to Lexington, Louisville and Cincinnati. Paris is nice but more rural and is not growing much.

I have seen pictures of bad flooding in Paris and Georgetown, and would like to know what areas and/or streets to avoid in these towns.

Here's Paris:

The areas around the creek near Lexington Pike in Paris tend to flood after a good rain, but it usually doesn't turn into a disaster zone like flooding in the midwest tends to (ie the Mississippi River now). Don't worry though

Is there anyone that lives IN Georgetown that I can send a DM and ask a few more questions?
