Herrington Lake? What town would that be, and how far from Lexington?

Danville - 40 minutes or so from Lex. Nice lake, nice town.

Someone mentioned Berea as an option and I agree. Danville is a beautiful area but Berea and surrounding area is right at the I-75 corrider which makes quick weekend getaways super easy and more time for fun instead of an hour just to get to the interstate. I live in the area and make lots of trips to visit family out of state because I can jumpr on the interstate and be on my way. It really depends on what you will be doing with your time and what you are looking for. Danville is way out there in the middle away from things...in my opinion.
