The best high-end designer I'm aware of is Phillip Marcum at My Favorite Things/Drexel Heritage, which is located in Hamburg Pavilion. Address is 2721 Old Rosebud Road, Lexington, 40509; phone is 859-264-0837. I know he has done designs for the Showcase of Luxury Homes for the Homebuilders Association of Lexington and has also done work for Spindletop Hall.
really be careful when picking one of these and make sure their tastes are like yours...if you are into modern loft style and you pick a designer who does nothing but classical, watch out.
