I also need help with the catholic schools. I would not be able to look at Lexington before moving there. Can anyone tell me the difference between the 4 schools I've talked to?
Seton Catholic, Sts Peter and Paul, Christ the King, and Mary Queen Rosary School. Which one is best (I dont' think Seton has any opening so may be a non point). What are the differences in the people attending? I prefer a more middle class school with down to earth people which is what we have here.
Thanks.

Christ the King is (arguably) the best of the lot. I know people who are happy with each school, though.

One of my business clients in Lexington has two children at Seton. Maybe its a product of their parents, but these are outstanding and brilliant children and their parents really tout Seton. I have also heard good things about Christ.

Seton and Christ are both good.

Lexington Catholic is, to my knowledge, the only Catholic high school in the eastern half of Kentucky and it does pretty well. (The only other Catholic high schools in KY can be found in Northern KY, Louisville, Owensboro, and Paducah.)

Mary Queen is excellent and the parents are very supportive of the school. Lexington Catholic is across the street. Have you thought about Lexington Christian...great school?! I have three children there and one who graduated last year.
