I've recently found myself back in Kentucky due to family reasons, with no place to stay. Friend has offered me a job in Lexington, but can't take it yet due to not living in the area. I'm trying to find a short-term place to stay(1-3months) in order to stabilize myself. Are there any apartments that offer such short term leases? I've only been able to find one that offered a no-lease deal, but was a bit too high($600/month) for now. I'm looking more in the range of $300-$400 as my funds are limited until I start the job. Or perhaps one you need to sublet/know someone who does. This is needed ASAP as I've only got a week, two tops, to find a place. Thanks.

If you want the cheapest apartments in a relatively safe area I'd look along 3rd & 2nd Streets near North Broadway or along High Street from South Broadway to Rose Street. I've seen a lot of studios listed in the $350 range in those areas
I'd be careful about the downtown area. Areas East of downtown are sketchy. Overall however Lexington is very safe.
