We are moving to the Hamburg area (zip 40509) next week and would like to join a gym shortly after we arrive. It looks like there is an Urban Active nearby. Any experiences there? Or other suggestions?

I'm used to paying $10/mo at a Planet Fitness here, so I am sure I'll experience sticker shock in Lexington.

Any input is appreciated!

I agree...bad contracts. We are victims of Urban Active; plus the place is extremely small for the amount of members. It's ridiculous to try to find a parking spot. I would travel to YMCA in Beaumont.

Unfortunately no YMCA on this side of town yet, but it is coming. My wife and I met some folks the other night who work out someplace over beside Ashley Furniture. They were talking about how Urban Active uses contracts, but this place doesn't. Sorry I didn't catch the name, but they really seem to like it there so you might check it out.
