I'm new to the Lexington area and was wondering about the Konner Woods subdivision. It is less than a mile from my office and in the perfect price range. Any drawbacks to the area?? Any good selling points? Any and all comments welcome. Please be as critical as possible.
Okay, so I've been asking around and although many people I've spoken with have said that Coldstream Station and Coventry subdivisions are good neighborhoods they don't really know anything about Konner Woods.
I've been told that if I do look in this area to definitely stay outside of New Circle Road.
My husband and I have a 3year old son and are hoping to get in an area with a good elementary school (I believe it would be Sandersville in Konner Woods)
Our max price range is $135,000 and we were hoping to get over 1500sq ft with this price.
If you're not keen on Konner Woods please let me know why or please make any other neighborhood suggestions. Thanks!
My husband and I currently live in the Konner Woods subdivison. We are located at the end of Polk lane at 2101. We LOVE the house and our neighbors. It's got great square footage (1750sqft) and an open floor plan. My husband works at Lexmark just a couple miles off of New Circle so it's been a great location for us. We have no complaints about the area or our neighbors so far. We live at the end of the cul de sac where it is very quiet and peaceful. The neighborhood is up and coming, with many houses going up around us. Let me know if you still have more questions, I would be happy to answer any other questions you have.
