I'm here, I'm here! I had a horrible week work-wise and had no time to check the forum. We had a really rushed trip last weekend and it went fine, but since we had the kids with us (and they were tired of driving after we finally got to Lexington) we mostly hung out at local parks and walked around downtown. I love all the green space in Lexington! The parks are great.

My husband and I are spending the week in Lexington to house hunt. Our flight leaves tomorrow at 10AM and we have until Friday evening. We have about 25-30 houses on our list to look at. During our visit last weekend we drove through Lakeview and liked that a lot. I think we are focusing mostly on locations inside New Circle Road as well as Versailles. We're hoping to find 'the perfect house' during this trip, as it is only a month until we are moving. If we don't find the right house on this trip, we may end up renting, but I would much prefer not to have to do that since I don't want the kids to have to transfer schools if we don't end up buying a house in the same school neighborhood as where we rented.

I will have my laptop so I'll check in during the week!

Glad to see you're okay - saw that there were quite a few tornados in Iowa recently. Good luck with your house hunt!
