I will say for any new winter driver... If there's ice on the roads, don't bother. If it's snow? Just remember DON'T EVER touch the gas or brakes WHILE you turn. It renders your steering useless. Slow down... WAY down before big turns. Take it easy anyway.

I'll be coming to Lexington this weekend to preview some apartment. I was wondering has anyone heard anything good/bad about The Summit @ Brighton Place?

I had to Google that, hadn't heard of it before. It's on Helmsdale Place which is a very good area and very close to Hamburg.

You'll love this part of town, but I am afraid you'll have to live through the widening at Todds Road and Man O War. When it gets really bad, come out of the complex on Forest Hill, then right on Dabney, then right on Mapleleaf to get to Man O War. You can also cut through Andover Forest or Autumn Ridge to get to Hamburg without having to get on Man O War. If you want to get over by Cheddar's, cut through Andover Forest, left on Brighton Place, right on Helmsdale. It'll put you right there without having to deal with Todds Rd at it's worst times......if you can't tell, I live really close!!
