Can someone recommend a good and reasonable real estate attorney in the Lexington area? We purchased a Ball Home and would like someone to review our contract.

Well, did you know you could have had your own realtor to represent you for free? If you walked into a model home and used one of their onsite agents, that agent is making the money that YOUR realtor could have made, but they are not representing you, merely handling the transaction.

Since it is too late for that, try Billy Sherrow. My dad was partners with him years ago. He does most of the real estate work in Lex. His office is on Southland. You could probably google his name and the street name to get his contact info.

I've had deals with Ball before. Their contracts are pretty common for new construction, which means that it is written more in favor of them. Are you doing a build to suit or buying an existing home? That makes a little difference as to what all parts of the contract aply.
