My wife and I are looking to move to Lexington over the summer. We were in Lexington this past weekend and took tours of The Resort at Lake Crossing, Park Place and The Racquet Club. Does anyone have any opinions or information regarding these places?

Take a look at apartmentratings.com - always best to hear from people who have lived or are still living there

I was actually wondering about the Resort at Lake Crossing as well. The price looks too good to be true for all the amenities, are there hidden fees or something I need to know about? Any information at all would be beneficial, because these apartments are exactly what I'm looking for in the exact location.

I lived in 3 different units in Park Place during 2000-2006. Townhouse was my favorite. It was nice back then. Not sure how it is now. The entire staff has changed. Raquet Club was okay. Apartmentratings is definately a good place to look.

I don't know anything about the management of any of these places, but they are all in good parts of town. I have know several people that have lived at Park Place and they all seemed very happy. Personally, I like the east end of Lexington, so Lake Crossing would appeal to me the most. The only bad thing I can say about Lake Crossing is that it can be hard to turn left onto Richmond Road, and going the backways to catch the light at Squires can be tiresome.

living at park place at a townhome now, no complaints, certainly very pleasant landscaping, the college kids are occasionally loud but it does not bother us too much

See my post about the Tates Creek area Park Place is near. Park Place is nice and you probably wouldn't experience any issues but I just don't like what the surrounding area is starting to look like. Since apartments are a dime a dozen I would pass on it for that reason alone.
