Hi, I have visted Lexington twice and I am now looking to relocated there. I am looking for an apartment or rental home hopefully no more than 750 a month in a safe area. I have two very well mannered sons that are preteen and teen both have always been honor students. We fell in love with Lexington, but I am willing to move on the outer area hopefully no more than about 25mins from Lexington. if I can find a safe low crime area with malls and grocery stores nearby. How about Georgetown or Richmond areas? I hope someone can help. I would also like other Single moms that maybe let me in on great family activities around the area

Thank you for all your help

Hi,

I'm in South Lexington; I don't really know the areas well, but people seem to like Winchester, Richmond and Georgetown (that's overly broad, someone else will jump in). If you venture out one layer further, Danville is adorable and I know at least one person semi-retired who lives in Garrard County (Lancaster?) and commutes to Lexington.

Anyhow, welcome!
